Our goal for SOL Organics is to create luxurious bedding products from Fair Trade Certified™ organic cotton, ethically grown and manufactured from seed to sheet. Taking the steps to become Fair Trade Certified™ means that the farmers and workers who make our bedding are fairly compensated and protected throughout the manufacturing process.

Since our bedding materials are naturally sourced from organic cotton, you don’t have to worry about chemicals or pesticides harming you or your family. By the same token, our farm and factory partners are spared the toxic fumes that normally accompany conventional cotton farming and manufacturing. Transparency and sustainability are of the utmost importance for our business and we are dedicated to ensuring that each of our products are made fairly, safely and ethically.

Conventional cotton wreaks havoc on the environment, and is one of the planet’s most pesticide-intensive crops. The chemicals from fertilizers and pesticides tarnish the soil, with run-offs contaminating the local water supply where the cotton is grown. That affects an entire eco-system—from the soil, plants, animals and yes, people, too, are affected by chemicals from conventional farming practices.

We only use 100% organic cotton because it’s luxuriously soft while also being sustainably harvested. The cotton for our products were grown from non-GMO seeds, without the use of synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Our farming partners also employ sustainable organic farming practices, such as using rain-fed irrigation to conserve water. Who knew that cloud soft sheets could have such a positive impact on the environment?
