Our 2021 Fall Reading List

Fall is here, and with that comes cozy sweaters, fall leaves, and warm drinks. We love the cozy hygge vibes of fall, and one of our favorite fall activities is settling in with a good book.

If you’re a fellow bookworm, keep reading because we’re compiling all of the books we’ll be reading this season in our 2021 fall reading list.

Nine Perfect Strangers

Liane Moriarty’s book, Nine Perfect Strangers, has been made into a series and is currently airing on Hulu, and if you’re as hooked as we are, you’ll want to grab a copy of her book as well! Set at a mysterious wellness retreat, the book brings together nine strangers who have come to heal themselves from their pasts.

The book shares wisdom, tips, and recipes, for living a slow, sustainable, full life.

For an extra dose of hygge, check out Maria del Mar Sacasa’s Winter Cocktails recipe book and whip yourself up a drink to enjoy while you read! This collection of cold weather drinks includes the Old Fashioned, Hot Buttered Rum, Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate, and so much more.

Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell

Harry Potter for adults, Susanna Clarke’s debut novel is set in a 19th century England where magic once existed and is being brought back by two men, Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell. This book is lengthy (we’re talking 1000 pages lengthy), but it’s the perfect magical book to curl up with this fall.

The Harry Potter Series

While we’re on the subject, Harry Potter just never gets old, and it wouldn’t be fall if we didn’t revisit at least one of the books in this magical series! The combination of magic, old castles, and school gives makes it the perfect fall series.

Vanderbilt’s: The Rise and Fall of an American Dynasty

Old money, family, drama, and American royalty? Yes please! This tantalizing book by Anderson Cooper (the great-great-great grandson of Cornelius Vanderbilt) and Katherine Howe details the rise and fall of the Vanderbilt family.
