What does your Astrological sign say about your sleep habits?

The bull is the perpetual snoozer. He’ll grab his forty winks at the drop of a hat. He’ll even sleep on his feet. The goat -- a born disciplinarian -- will get her daily quota of sleep in measured doses by the clock. The lion loves his beauty sleep and sleeps most comfortably on his back.

No, we aren’t talking about different animal species and their sleeping habits here. Rather, this is all about the sleeping habits of the zodiac sun signs.  

Each sun sign has a particular sleep pattern, peculiar to its own. You have the snoozers, the insomniacs, the depressives and the hypochondriacs and the basic characteristics of each sun sign affect their sleep patterns.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

The born insomniac. An Aquarius needs to make sure they are getting adequate sleep. If you find you haven’t been able to sleep well as an Aquarius, you may want to seek out some assistance. Tackle the easiest obstacles to sleep first, such as a clean and welcoming bedroom with a comfortable mattress and clean cozy sheets.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

Pisceans love their sleep and often use it as a vehicle to escape reality. Pisceans dream a lot and can be very spiritual. They firmly feel that every dream they have has a message to deliver. Remember, sleep is your opium and will keep you energized for the next day. Soft music should help you sleep better.

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

The zodiac’s baby, Aries, a fire sign is ruled by the head. For the average Ram, 4 to 5 hours of sleep at night is good enough, provided it’s in a cool room with natural sounds, soothing music or white noise.

Taurus(April 20 – May 20)

Taurus simply loves to sleep. Spend the entire day relaxing and snoozing comes as naturally to a Taurus as breathing. Reading and listening to music appeal to them instantly as does living life king size. The Taurus believes in class. That’s why his room has to be clean and appealing to this fixed side, which can often be very inflexible and stubborn.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

The mutable and masculine air-sign. Masters of communication, the average Gemini is always chatty and on the go. If your bedfellow is constantly tossing and turning in his sleep, he’s most probably a Gemini. Staying calm in bed is advised as no work ever got done anyways when you fidgeted while sleeping.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22):

The born busybody. A Cancer will either sleep too much or too little – the master of extremes. They usually don’t sleep well while traveling as they prefer the comfort of their own home.  

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

The jungle king sure needs it’s beauty sleep and loves it, too. Sleeping is rarely a problem with this zodiac sign, provided they cuddle up with someone, the family dog included. The bedroom, however, has to be cozy and the bed linen spotlessly clean. They sleep best on their back.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

You are the zodiac’s worrywart. Try meditation to block out your mind and induce you to sleep. Also, regular exercising would burn off that extra energy and help you sleep deeply.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

This balance sign is all about numbers and balances. A sleepless night similarly, balances out with ample snoozing the next day. The waking hours and sleep scales are usually balanced for Librans.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

You are the proverbial night owl. So if you have a sleep issue, you'll just get up and do something productive. Try alternative healing practices and meditation to burn off that excessive Mars energy.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

A Sagittarian likes to keep moving, which often is a sleep deterrent. You generally don’t have problems sleeping, but an overactive mind could be a hindrance. Meditate to calm your mind before sleeping.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

The ever-disciplined goat makes his sleeping a daily chore that is needed and has to be completed at any cost. Create a congenial and comfortable environment. Sleep is bound to come automatically.

No matter which zodiac sign you belong to, your sleep pattern is influenced by it in some way or another. You may be a tosser and turner; a dead-to-the-world sleeper; night owl; or even a partial or full on insomniac. There’s no escaping any one category to which you belong. And it’s all because of the stars under which you were born!
