Tell us a bit about yourself!

I am a health & wellness blogger who is passionate about making healthy living FUN! I am also a fiancé, dog mom, a Taylor Swift fan girl, and a houseplant enthusiast.

What sparked your passion for a plant-based lifestyle?

I decided to try out a plant-based diet my first year of college and fell in love with how I felt! I have been passionate about this lifestyle ever since.

Describe your perfect day?

My perfect day would start with a slow morning of cuddling my puppy and sipping on matcha. Then, a scenic hike with my little family before lunch at a cute local spot. Later, I would make a homemade dinner to enjoy with friends. Some sort of chocolate dessert included. Of course, ending the day with more puppy cuddles.

Do you follow a morning routine?

While no two mornings are ever the same, I do have a few morning non-negotiables. Every morning I tongue scrape, drink lemon water, take a probiotic, make a matcha latte, and do a meditation. These practices are simple and they energize me for the day.

How do you wind down at the end of the day?

After dinner, I try to put my work away and stay off social media. This helps my mind to calm down. I like to make a mug of herbal ginger tea and watch Netflix with my fiancé before heading to bed.

Tips for a good night’s sleep?

Put the electronics aside, use essential oils, journal out your thoughts, and use CBD. I have a whole blog post on this on my website!

What do you wish more people knew about plant-based living?

I wish that more people knew how simple a plant-based lifestyle is. Anyone can do it, no matter where you live or your budget.

What are your top 3 tips for moving towards a healthier lifestyle?

  1. Take it one step, one day at a time.
  2. Don’t take it too seriously. If you want to live well long term, make it fun.
  3. Drink your water and eat those leafy greens!

What are the wellness items you can’t live without?

Essential oils, stainless steel tongue scraper, and matcha.
